Natural proteins are proteins purified from samples from their natural sources, including human whole blood, serum, plasma, urine, etc. Natural proteins undergo natural in vivo modifications such as precursor protein cleavage, disulfide bond formation, glycosylation or phosphorylation, and maintain their original complex 3D structure. Therefore, their behavior patterns are similar to their in vivo behavior, making them ideal interoperable calibration and quality control materials and suitable for use as supporting components of diagnostic reagents.
