Product Introduction

KOD DNA Polymerase is a highly thermostable DNA polymerase obtained by recombinant expression in E. coli based on the DNA polymerase of the hyperthermophilic archaeon Thermococcus kodakaraensis KOD1. It has high amplification efficiency and fidelity. Due to its strong 3' - 5' exonuclease activity, the exonuclease activity gives it higher fidelity than Taq DNA Polymerase, and it also has high amplification efficiency, which can reach a speed of 1kb/10s, and has strong long fragment amplification ability. KOD DNA Polymerase amplification reaction produces blunt-end products.

Product Feature

- Has strong 3→5 exonuclease activity (proofreading activity), can accurately amplify the target fragment;

- KOD enzyme fidelity is about 50 times that of Taq enzyme;

- Can amplify complex DNA templates;

Product Application

- PCR cloning (blunt-end cloning), mutation repair, sequencing reaction, complex template amplification;
