Product Introduction

Poly(A) polymerase, also known as PolyA tailing enzyme, can catalyze the addition of AMP converted from ATP to the 3' end of single-stranded RNA in a template-independent manner, forming a Poly(A) tail. Poly(A) polymerase can use a variety of single-stranded RNAs as substrates, DNA cannot be used as a substrate for this reaction, and double-stranded RNA and oligonucleotides that are too short are not recommended as substrates for this reaction. The catalyzed Poly(A) tailing reaction can only use ATP and cannot use ADP or dATP.
